It’s a lovely afternoon and I am in a beautiful home in a swanky part of town to do Lipsology entertainment ( I read lip prints!) The house is buzzing with beautiful women clinking champagne classes and dressed to the nines. The catering staff are busy picking up after the used plates and empty glasses. The ladies all know each other and are gathering and talking about the latest gossip. They are also excited to experience their first Lipsology reading and I can hear them chattering away while waiting on a nearby couch already nitpicking and criticizing their lip prints.
And then out of the blue I hear someone say:
“Trout mouth. I gotta trout mouth, ya’ll.”
My client says as she stares disapprovingly at her lip prints. “Oh my God, my lip print looks like it came from a fish!”
Guests love comparing their lip prints!
The prints show that her upper lip is thin with no cupid bow and it arches dramatically over the bottom lip like a rainbow with the corners pointing downward. I note that she does have a thin upper lip which means that she’s very particular and picky (and perhaps critical) about how things are done. No kidding.
“Well, look at mine!” quips another woman with oval shaped lip prints that look thin on both top and bottom. “See, if you hold it this way it looks like your ahemmm …. you know what”. She arches her eyebrows and glances at her crotch to make the point. They both laugh and ask another woman to show them her prints as well. Now they are all having fun comparing their colorful prints.
Clearly the champagne has kicked in.
So much criticism and distain over lip prints. But I hear it all the time at parties and particularly from women. People can be so surprised and alarmed at the image of their kiss on a piece of paper. Who knew?
Once the ladies sit with me and I have the opportunity to explain the meaning of their prints, they begin to have a deeper appreciation of what their lips are trying to tell them. And that’s what make a Lipsology readings such a magical experience.
What her lip prints revealed!
Ms. Trout mouth was being so picky-picky about things and hovering over people so that they would move in what she felt was the right direction. However, she wasn’t happy about it – at least that’s what her lip prints were telling me with the corners of the lips pointing downward. I could also see as the print in the space representing the future was hard to see. It had very little saturation on the page. Her prints were predicting that at the rate she was going she was wearing herself out and maybe she should start thinking about ways to pull back and take care of herself.
Lip prints are like snowflakes. No two are a like ever!
What is fascinating about lip prints is that no two prints are ever alike even from the same person. You can’t tell what sex, age or race a person is by their prints. But you can tell a lot about how someone is feeling, interacting (or not) with others, if they are stressed or overwhelmed. I can if they are distracted thinking about what has happened or will happened or if they are simply even present to current situations.
People always want to make their prints the “right” way and will often ask me how to do things. But there isn’t a “right” way. They just need to apply the lipstick and kiss the card a couple of times. What shows up on the paper usually reflects their state of mind and circumstances.
Once people understand the secret messages that their prints have for them, there is often a sense of freedom and relief. It’s not unusual for people to get emotional during their readings. Human beings long to be understood, especially if they are feeling unappreciated or ignored. But their lip prints have a lot of information for me to share with them and once that is out in the open my clients feel a lot better. And they keep their lip prints to remind them.
Is a party in your future?
Lipsology readings are perfect for small parties or large events and galas. Guess what? Men will do it too!
