It’s no secret that my clients love to have fun! They are usually busy ladies who can whip up a party in the blink of a false eyelash.
Maybe this is you or someone you know.
They are vivacious, energetic and someone you adore hanging out with.
Their friends remember them fondly for their thoughtfulness and generosity.
Sound familiar? Here’s one more thing…
They also love to plan surprises!
Recently, I got a call from a client who lived a couple of states away from me. She had found me through an entertainment site, read my reviews and liked what she saw. She especially was interested in my virtual lip print parties. Yup – lip print reading is a thing.
I’m one of eleven certified Lipsologists in the world that understands the intimate and unusual language of lip prints. Before the pandemic corporate groups would hire me to entertain at events, promote products and do employee appreciation parties.
But back to the story…
We decided to have a phone conversation to make sure that we were a match! We discussed several ideas and her vision for the evening.
And here is what she told me:
Nancy wanted to throw a virtual surprise party and invite all of her neighborhood gal pals to a ladies only night at her house.
“We are having an evening of no husbands or children. And – I don’t want to hear a word about them either. It’s our night!”
So we came up with a plan and decided that Lipsology lipstick print readings would be the perfect activity for their group for their group to do together.
I set up the Zoom invitation and send her a template to print out lip print cards especially designed for her group.
We checked in a day before the event.
Nancy was so excited.
“I told everyone they were to bring lipstick and paper – but they all think everyone’s bringing different objects!
They have no idea that you’ll be popping in to do lipstick readings!
I can’t wait to see their faces!”
Surprise!
I zoomed in and helped them all make lip prints.
And the group noshed on snacks and sipped wine while listening to their readings.
We even zoomed in Nancy’s sister in New York to join in the fun.
And – her brother-in-law joined in too to find out the messages in his lip prints!
“You pegged him!” was the verdict!
How amazing is that?
As amazing as all the Facebook posts that went up of their party, the next day. And Nancy proudly sent me the links!
