I read lip prints! And so could you!

Lip Prints by Laura E. West, Certified Lipsologist.

Networking nights are always fun because people usually do a double take when I tell them what I do.
I’m a Lipsologist (I read lip prints for parties and corporate events) and I have been fascinated with reading lip prints since I discovered the book “Lipsology, the Art and Science of Reading Lip Prints” by Jilly Eddy.

Jilly’s collection

Jilly collected thousands of lip prints from her Lips Limousine service clients as a fun branding idea.   She loved collecting the kisses of people she knew and thought that the prints were beautiful and personal.

The Chicago Tribune wrote an article about her and the intriguing collection and soon after that, she was contacted by the Johnny Carson show to bring her kiss collection out to Los Angeles. During the show Johnny asked her if the lip prints told her anything about their owners.  Jilly had never really thought about it, but when she went home, she couldn’t stop thinking about what he said.

Jilly studied the lip prints and started sorting them by size.  After a while she saw similarities between different aspects of the  lip prints and the personalities of her family and friends.  She began to categorize the prints further into shapes and that was just the beginning.   After years of observation and information, she was able to compile it into a wonderful book.

There are hundreds of pictures of lip prints in Jilly’s book.  Every chapter categorizes and explains the secret messages each kiss print has for their owners according to size (yes, it does matter!), shape, color intensity, spacing, and over seventy other aspects that can be identified from a single lip print.

Lipsology fact

Did you know:  no two lip prints are alike even of the same person?
Really! They aren’t like fingerprints. Each lip print is like a snowflake and totally individual just like you and me!

Lips don’t lie – we often give ourselves away by the expressions we make as we think. The lips are one of the most expressive and sensitive parts of our bodies and our lip prints express even more.

Lipsology readings are a fun way to understand ourselves and others. And incidentally, how often do you even get a chance to see your own lip prints?
