Stay in action and don’t let little things stop you!
The Card of Fortune this week spotlights The King of Clubs. This card suggests that we stay in action this week by working through things that we tend to worry about or let overwhelm us. The King of Clubs can also often distract himself by being the problem solver for others and disregard his own situation. This card suggests creating a plan with bench marks and then sticking to it. This may require some sacrifice from distractions and instant gratification treats.
You may find that you are still working through some situations from last week but making progress.
Just remember:
Nothing is perfect. Finding satisfaction in the work we do, the challenges we take on and the ability to struggle through problems to a solution is key. If you really needed something, you would have it. Stay present and be okay in the moment. Where you are now, today, is perfect.
Take your time before reacting to situations. Do you have all the information you need? Are you acting impulsively from emotion? Stop and wait until you are calm and feel balanced. And who knows, the situation may work itself out without you having to do anything.
- Use your creative thinking to get more focus and definition on a project or goal. Sometimes innovation can get us out of a pinch or when our backs are against the wall. The situation you are facing is one that you created yourself, so own it. Refrain from blaming others and see it as a way to get leverage where you feel stuck. Instead of worrying, get calm and ask yourself what you have power over right now. Tap in to your intuition and you will discover something great.
- Winners never quit and quitters never win. The path to success is through the path of ambition and inspiration. It’s the journey not the destination that counts. However, dedication, discipline and persistence are important to keep us on the path to push forward. If you are struggling, ask yourself what is the temptation distracting you from what you want?
Often the journey is more interesting than the destination. You just think that the goal or destination is the reason you are doing something, but often we find a lot more gifts and lessons along the way.
Remember: Mercury is in retrograde until May 22. Use this time to review projects, dream, rest, socialize and have fun. Try not to start new projects or make contract during this time period. However, life does happen, so expect some delays and to sort out a few more unexpected problems with anything started at this time. I suggest arming yourself with good humor and a lot of patience.
